A Minha Identidade

Sou jovem Moçambicano
nesta minha sociedade
relevando a minha cultura
e a minha literatura
pois sei de verdade que sou Africano.

Promovendo a criatividade
nesta nossa selva terra
pois lavro a terra pela charua
para reter a cultura dos antepassados
e as flores transpiram pela felicidade.

Que cultura minha é essa
que sempre me condensa
e me faz lembrar dos passados tempos
que a capulana e o lenço
eram o vestuario tipico com acesso
e hoje a terra nos foge,
e me desperta a cultura dos tempos.

Nós somos da cultura
e somos também da literatura
vivendo o Moçambique pela educação
pois douravante somos nós na educação
e a vida se torna mais volumosa como a balea
e felicitados pela felecidade somos uma vida sem fim.

My Identity

I am a young man of Mozambique
in this my society
emphasizing my culture
and my literature,
so I know the truth—that I am African—

promoting creativity
in this, our jungle land,
so draw up the land for the plow
to keep the culture of our ancestors
and the flowers that exude happiness.

My culture is that
that condenses on me always
and makes me remember the times passed
when the capulana and lenço were typical clothing and important
and today the land fades
and it raises in me the culture of times passed.

We are of culture
and we are of literature also
living in Mozambique for an education
so we grow through education
and life becomes more voluminous like a whale
and congratulated for happiness, we are life without end.
